La nivelul comunei Certeju de Sus reţeaua publică de ocrotire a sănătăţii cuprinde 1 dispensar medical, 2 cabinete medicale, 2 farmacii și 1 cabinet stomatologic.
Activitatea medicală se desfășoară în localul dispensarului medical Certeju de Sus.
Locuitorii sunt consultați și diagnosticați chiar în comună, iar pentru consultații de specialitate apelezeză la serviciile Spitalului Județean de Urgență Deva.
